The Today Show With John Steffensen

Cyclone Advertising will soon be launching an Olympic campaign for the Dexion Office account, featuring elite Australian athlete & Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist John Steffensen. In the course of shooting the campaign, Channel 9’s The Today Show provided coverage that will go to air this Monday, 10th March.

Steffensen, Australia’s number one 400m champion, has been a brand ambassador for Dexion Office for 4 years, initially helping to promote their product range through internal corporate programs, but will now help launch a new range of Precision desk & screen systems through an integrated print, DM and online advertising campaign.

The shoot for this campaign took place in Sydney on Thursday the 6th March and received coverage from the Today show during the course of the afternoon.

The concept depicts Steffensen in full flight during a fast paced training session at Homebush stadium.

The up and coming Beijing Olympics will put Steffensen in the spotlight, helping to give Dexion Office a great deal of leverage. Cyclone Advertising will be working closely with Dexion Office and John Steffensen on further advertising and PR campaigns closer to the time of Olympics.

Castle Towers Sonic Branding

Cyclone Advertising is excited to announce the launch of a third sonic branding campaign for one of its shopping centre clients.

Castle Towers, Sydney, has recently used the Cyclone sonic branding methodology to help create more awareness of their shopping centre throughout Sydney.

Sonic branding harnesses the power of music to help brands engage with consumers on an emotional level through the use of sound.

It involves creating a sonic logo and music bed that fits with the values of the brand. Once this has been established, it is then implemented across many different consumer touch points such Radio, TV & Cinema advertising, hold music, centre announcements, staff mobile phone ring tones, websites and much more.

Cyclone has witnessed great success through its sonic branding methodology, which has also been used very effectively by Eastland & Watergardens shopping centres.

Cyclone Advertising has been working closely with Australia’s favourite celebrity Doctor John Tickell, to take his brand to new levels in the digital marketplace.

The new website, www.drjohntickell.com is an online hub of health related knowledge for everyone – men, women and children – and is at the forefront of delivering a memorable online experience.

Programmed with CMS capabilities, secure online member log in, e-store, Podcasts, streaming videos and more, the website houses an enormous amount of information presented in a highly interactive and user friendly way.

From recipes, to fitness, pregnancy info, work balance and much more – Dr John Tickell promotes unique insights for living a longer, enjoyable and more fulfilling life.

Where did January go?

Greens campaign gets Richard Farmer’s vote

A recent article by Richard Farmer, posted on popular political site crikey.com.au complimented the current Greens election campaign for it’s effective use of advertising dollars.

“I venture that the limited Greens advertising budget is the only one that will provide value-for-money in this campaign”.

While condemning Liberal and Labor for wasting over 40 million dollars on ineffective political slander, he gave The Greens the thumbs up for delivering a positive and influential message.

“The nearest I have to a recollection of an advertisement that might influence me on Saturday is the Green undertaker Bob Brown telling me I can have two bangs for my buck by voting Greens first…”
